A 1940s fishery bye laws metal sign in the original paint for the Dee & Clwyd River Board, Wales.
The sign advises that fishing between this point and the weir is prohibited by order. Whilst the name can only partially be seen, research shows the head of the Board - which - came into being in 1948 was Capt. G. A. Wright, O.B.E., M.C., M.I.W.E who was the Clerk and Chief Executive Officer, Dee and Clwyd River Board. - this was the name on this sign.
