An unusual early 19th century description on Robertson's emblematical design on the death of Lord Nelson, describing the scene portrayed.   Referring to the Duke of Gloucester and in the original ealry 19th frame.  The name of the original owner of the piece, a Lieut Kirke (we think, the handwriting is difficult to decipher) with red crown stamp verso.
